CHES Celebration of Scholarship Call for Abstracts
Abstract submissions for the upcoming 2025 CHES Celebration of Scholarship will open in the Spring of 2025.
Details
- Presenters must be a CHES Member – Apply here!
- Presentation must be delivered in-person at the scheduled time – the final program and format assignment is contingent upon the number of submissions in each category.
- Members may be the presenting author on one abstract only.
- Only ONE presenter will be accepted per submission.
- Members may present work previously presented at other conferences.
- Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and may include three keywords and three learning objectives.
- Accepted oral presenters will be given a 13-minute slot (8 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A).
- Accepted poster presenters will need to submit a jpeg version of their poster by the end of August, prior to the event.

- What problem have you identified and/or tried to address?
- What did you do (a description of methods and/or innovation)?
- What did you discover in the work (findings and/or lessons learned)?
- Why is this important (implications and/or future directions of the work)?
Abstracts Describing Work-In-Progress
- What problem have you identified and/or tried to address?
- What are you doing or planning (a description of methods and/or innovation)?
- Why would the findings or lessons learned be important (implications)?
