Xin Mei Liu

Dr. Xin Mei Liu (she/her) is a PGY5 in Emergency Medicine at UBC. She completed her medical degree at McGill University. She is originally from Montreal and was born in China. Her previous experiences include a combination of student politics, educational leadership, and advocacy work. She is a Master Instructor in the Canadian Point of Care Ultrasound Society and currently focuses her ultrasound teaching efforts on supporting family physician in the Lower Mainland.

She has a wide range of interests in medical education which she hopes to solidify during her MHPE-Canada and Clinical Educator Fellowship. She envisions her career to involve some kind of educational leadership.

Xin plays soccer competitively for the North Shore Girls Soccer Club on their Premier team. She can cook you an incredible plant-based ramen. Finally, you will always see her light up when you start talking about home décor and kitchen accessories.
