Department of People and Technology,
Roskilde University

Dates of Visit: May 1 – 12, 2023

Biography

Sine is a qualitative researcher preoccupied with researching how new work tasks and changed working conditions in the health care system shape the professional identity of health professionals. Sine focuses on a range of health professions in mono as well as interprofessional practices. Sine is interested in exploring how different knowledge regimes and professional hierarchies shape professional practices and identities. Having one foot in social psychology and another in educational sciences, Sine is curious to learn what opportunities different clinical contexts provide for learning and professional development. Sine is inspired by feminist and poststructural theories of gender and profession. Sine prefers to work in close collaboration with practice partners within all parts of the healthcare system as well as the education sector. Currently, Sine is the leader of several research projects that thematize learning (in the broadest sense) in clinical contexts, both in relation to pre-graduate clinicians, but also with a focus on post-graduate learning in work-contexts
