Purpose of Visit

During this visit to CHES, Dr. Campbell will be meeting with educators, practitioners, and researchers within the CHES community to further discuss therapeutic communication. Specific goals include creating opportunities for interprofessional dialogue in the assessment and evaluation from an inclusive, person-centred approach, and feasibility testing of scales.

Biography

Dr. Suzanne Hetzel Campbell is a seasoned global educator who uses technology and experiential learning pedagogy. She has directed the development of simulation resource centers, led faculty workshops for integrating simulation pedagogy and has published book chapters and articles on education and lactation. Understanding the complexities of bringing classrooms to life she helps bridge the gap between education and practice. Her instrument development expertise and present research on therapeutic relationship promotes interprofessional education, research, and practice.
