Purpose of Visit

While at CHES, Dr. Clarke will be exploring the use of simulation for addressing ill-defined clinical problems and developing a program of research around this theme.

Biography

Dr. Clarke attended medical school at the University of Washington, and completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. After residency, he completed a two-year fellowship in Medical Education Scholarship at Harbor-UCLA and the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He joined the clinical teaching faculty of the UC Davis Department of Emergency Medicine in Sacramento, California, in 2012. While a faculty member at UC Davis he completed a Masters in Advanced Study of Clinical Research (MAS) through the UC Davis Clinical and Translational Science Center. He is currently an Associate Professor, the Director of Education Research and Co-Director of the Medical Education and Simulation Fellowship in his department.
