Prof. Thistlethwaite will be facilitating a series of seminar workshops on hot topics in IPE (interprofessional education), participating in the Where’s the Patient’s Voice in Health Professional Education – 10 Years On? conference and meeting with members of the CHES community.

During this visit to CHES, Dr. Martina Kelly will be meeting with colleagues and exchanging ideas on the use of arts-based qualitative methods in medical education and experimenting with different forms of expression to promote ideas through collaborative inquiry, phenomenology or embodiment.

During his visit to CHES Dr. Nigel King will be presenting CHES Research Rounds, facilitating two interactive workshops, as well as collaborating with members of the CHES community around the longitudinal project led by Dr. Chris Lovato.

While at CHES Drs. Pearson & Albon wish to develop a program evaluation/Scholarship of Teaching and Learning inquiry strategy for their new curriculum in the UBC Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

While at CHES Dr. Mattick wishes to explore common research interests and methodologies and to find out more about the Canadian infrastructure for medical education research.
