Georges Bordage

CHES is pleased to be hosting Dr. Georges Bordage (MD, PhD), Professor in the Department of Medical Education in the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago, throughout the month of September.

During his visit, Dr. Bordage will moderate a four-week journal club series on “Aspects of clinical reasoning and decision making: Meaning, teaching-learning, assessment.” During these sessions, participants will have the opportunity to discuss a series of recommended readings, including their practical implications for teaching and scholarship.

At this time, CHES would like to invite your input in deciding the best time for the sessions. Each one-hour session will be held on Tuesday mornings at the Diamond Health Care Centre (DHCC), sometime between 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM.

If you are interested in joining the sessions, please RSVP to ches.membership@ubc.ca by August 5, 2014 and indicate the following:

  • any times within the proposed window that you are not available.
  • if you will be attending in-person at DHCC, or via video-conference or teleconference from one of the distributed medical sites.

We will select the schedule based on the time slot which suits the greatest number of participants and will announce all relevant details once they become available.

The weekly topics are available on the print version
