Purpose of Visit

During this visit to CHES, Dr. Robinson will be meeting with individual members of the CHES community with the goal of exposure to more perspectives as they relate to her own current work and growth as a medical education researcher and reflection on possible future directions of research.

Biography

Dr. Robinson is a medical education researcher and clinical fellow in pediatric critical care. Her research interests include supervision, autonomy, motivation and the learning environment. Dr. Robinson earned her medical degree at Emory University School of Medicine in 2015. She completed residency training in pediatrics at University of California San Francisco and has also completed a master’s degree in education at University of California Berkeley. She plans to join the UCSF Pediatric Critical Care faculty after she graduates this summer. She has facilitated small groups in the school of medicine for several years and also frequently gives lectures to residents or medical students on their pediatric rotations. Her most recent research received a mini-grant from the Western Group on Educational Affairs and she has presented this work at several conferences including the Pediatric Academic Societies Annual Conference and AAMC Learn Serve Lead.
