Biography

Kayla Fang is a Lecturer with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Entry-to-Practice PharmD program with a focus on experiential education. Kayla has an interest in community engaged learning as well scholarship around transitioning learners from classroom to practice. With a goal to cultivate exceptional pharmacists who care about the communities they serve, Kayla grounds her work in practice, building relationships with practitioners and members of the community. She strives to train students to be critical thinkers making sound judgements and decisions for the good of their patients.

Purpose of Visit

During this visit to CHES, Kayla wishes to connect with fellow scholars and health professions educators. She’s looking forward to discussing research and teaching to bridge the gap between classroom and realities of practice.
