Herman Tam

Dr Tam is Pediatric Rheumatologist at BC Children’s Hospital and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics, University of British Columbia. He grew up as a Vancouverite and trained in the UK and across Canada. He has a clinical interest in immune dysregulation and autoinflammatory diseases.

Dr Tam is excited to join the CHES community as a Clinical Educator Fellow while pursuing a Masters of Health Professions Education at Maastricht University. He is interested in instructional design and implementation. His education research focuses on educational leadership in curriculum change.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, music, hiking, and exploring metro Vancouver neighbourhoods with his dog.
