During her visit Dr. Whitehead will be giving our October Research Rounds presentation on constructing competency as roles, and will also be meeting with CHES members to discuss their research ideas, offer advice, and explore areas of joint interest.

Dr. Brian Hodges is our 2014 CHES Celebration of Scholarship Gordon Page Invited Lecturer. He will be giving a talk titled, “(Trans)formation: Learners, teachers and 21st century health professional curricula” on Oct 9.
Sabbatical Professor
Dr. Ian Scott will be using CHES as a home base for his year-long sabbatical, during which he will be exploring opportunities for scholarship in four areas relevant to educational practice.

During her sabbatical visit at CHES, Dr. Price will be investigating best practices in the assessment of experiential learning and advancing her knowledge of faculty development and the support of preceptors in their role as assessors.

While at CHES, Dr. Casiro will collaborate with members of the CHES community to explore questions of governance, leadership and outcomes in a distributed medical education system.
