Lorena is the Interim Educational Program Assistant at the Centre for Health Education Scholarship (CHES). Her role mainly is the overall support for the Clinical Educator Fellowship Program and Master Health Professions Education – Canada. She coordinates and provides support for other CEFP program-related events and acts as the main administrative liaison and contact for MHPE-Canada, between Maastricht University and both the University of British Columbia and Ontario Western University.
She recently moved to British Columbia from Saskatchewan and is an immigrant from the Philippines, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the De La Salle University. When she came to Canada she explored the opportunity to be employed in the public institutions. She previously worked as Confidential Secretary in the University of Saskatchewan and Administrative Support with Ministry of Justice of Government of SK.

Passionate about the water and city life, the move to Vancouver is having the best of both worlds. In her free time, Lorena loves to walk by the beach, enjoys travel and seeing new places. She is also grateful for the amazing people she met along the way and given the chance to work with the best and of the best.
