CHES Day 2013

Research in health professions education aims to deepen the understanding of teaching and learning practices. Its scope of inquiry ranges from the processes of admission into a health professions program to the maintenance of competence and continuing professional development processes engaged throughout a practitioner’s career.

CHES integrates the wide array of research programs of its constituents, and has created a milieu in which distributed medical education, assessment, and feedback have emerged as areas of research strength, with identity formation, simulation, and health advocacy emerging as new areas. CHES collaborates with faculty, clinicians, medical trainees, and graduate students worldwide to enhance HPE research and innovation.
