Dr. Kimberly Luu is a first-year clinical educator fellow at the Centre for Health Education Scholarship (CHES). She is originally from the greater Toronto area. She completed an undergraduate degree in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo and worked as a program manager at Microsoft Inc. before pursuing medicine. She then received her medical degree from Western University. Dr. Luu is now a PGY5 in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Luu is enrolled in the Master of Health Professions Education program at Maastricht University. While at CHES Dr. Luu hopes to explore her interests in surgical simulation, clinical entrustment, and teaching technical skills.
In her free time, Kim is a lover of travel, food, and adventure.
